Genevieve Munroe

Born in Santa Monica, CA, Tyler Ann Nunley (P.K.A. Genevieve Munroe) has always had a love and passion for the arts. In her early beginnings as an artist, Genevieve was a photographer for The Knightly News and head of the Independent Art Club at View Park Preparatory High School. In her senior year, she was a part of The Girl Project; a book published by Kate Engelbrecht, highlighting a group of female teenage photographers document themselves on the daily life of being adolescent. After graduation, Genevieve attended the California State Summer School of the Arts program at California Institute of the Arts and graduated from West Los Angeles College with an A.A. in Art History. She is currently attending Arizona State University currently completing her B.A. in Art History.


Professional highlights for Genevieve includes a certificate from The City of Los Angeles for her contribution to work with the Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk and the release her debut zine and photography exhibit, Dark Room at The Lobby Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles. Dark Room is a two year odyssey of her coverage of the rising new Punk and Alternative music scene in Los Angeles. Additionally, her eye for photos and digital media pieces include clientele and features by Huffington Post, L.A. Taco, The News-Gazette, Soul Train, KROQ, Outfest, Glamour Girl Magazine, Honor Flow Productions, MojaMoja, Downtown Los Angeles Center for Digital Art & International Photographic Art Exposition, Hive Gallery and Studios, and Records Ad Nauseam. Genevieve Munroe’s style of action photography and glitch effects is an influence on status quo and future pop culture and youth lifestyle.
